aCommerce Indonesia’s employees pooled funds and laptop donations

Our aTeam in Indonesia provided donations totaling 19,550,000 rupiahs and two laptop units and two units of the company’s laptops to local orphanages on 28 April 2022.

The total donations were pooled from the generous personal contributions of employees in aCommerce Indonesia, collected over a two-week period.

Yayasan Pundi Amal Bakti Ummat (PABU), the first beneficiaries received a 10-million rupiah check and a laptop. PABU was founded on 3 August 2015, in Bekasi City, West Java. It is a nonprofit and community-owned institution that aims to provide social, educational, humanitarian, and spiritual assistance to the younger generation, especially orphans and less privileged individuals.

The second beneficiary is Rumah Yatim Arrohman,  receiving 9 million rupiahs and another laptop. Rumah Yatim Arrohman is a national social institution and nonprofit organization established in Bandung in 2007.

Among its other mandates, the organization is focused on a program that supports Dhuafa orphans through a boarding/dormitory program and the development of their potential through education or scholarships, health, and humanitarian efforts.
